This church is known as the Santiago Temple. In the 16th century, a group of monks, led by Friar Bartolomé de las Casas, established this church in the Chiapas region of Mexico. Suddenly, this church sank and disappeared beneath the water, only to resurface later. This area is generally prone to intense flooding. The church is famous by the name of Santiago Temple and is partially visible during low water levels. Due to the weather conditions, eight people died in Mexico last week. However, people are still visiting the church on bikes and motorcycles. According to a report by Euro News, "It is beautiful and captivating to see this small church still standing after so many years." José Eduardo Géyer, a tourist who visited the church on a motorcycle with a friend, mentioned.

Under the leadership of Friar Bartolomé de las Casas, a group of monks established this church in the Chiapas region of Mexico. With walls reaching a height of 30 feet, the structure is 183 feet long and 42 feet wide. Its bell tower stands at a height of 48 feet. The church sank in 1960 due to the construction of a dam, causing it to be submerged in water. Despite being submerged for years, the ancient church has preserved its remarkable architectural features.
