Leicester City has officially completed the signing of Janice Cayman, the Belgium international, from Olympique Lyonnais. The transfer is subject to both league and international clearance, as announced by the Women's Super League side on Tuesday.

The 34-year-old forward joined Lyon in 2019 and played a crucial role in their success, contributing to two Women's Champions League triumphs, three league titles, and two French Cups during her time at the club.

Expressing her excitement about the move, Cayman stated in an interview with the club's website, "It's a new country for me to play football in, but perhaps one of the most significant countries to compete in. It will be a major challenge, but I am thrilled to be joining a new league, encountering new teams, and giving my all."

With an impressive record, Cayman holds the distinction of being Belgium's most capped international women's player, having earned 137 caps. She has also represented her country in major tournaments such as the UEFA Women's Euro 2017 and the recently concluded Euro 2022.
