PSG Officials Regard Mbappé's Comments as 'Disrespect'
The relationship between PSG and Kylian Mbappé is becoming colder. There is no desire to renew the contract—after sending a letter to PSG informing them of this, the club in Paris has set out to sell him. Mbappé's thoughts on PSG are also not surprising.
In a recent interview with French football, Mbappé spoke at length about his relationship with PSG. In one part of the interview, he said, "I don't think I will benefit from playing at PSG. There is no unity in this team. Yes, of course, this leads to a lot of rumors, but I don't pay much attention to them."
His comments have been met with a reaction from the PSG officials. According to reports from French media outlet RMC Sport, six players, including two newcomers, met with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the chairman of PSG. They expressed their dissatisfaction with Mbappé's statements. This is the first public expression of discontent from the PSG faithful towards Mbappé, the club's top goal scorer.
Mbappé's remarks haven't been well-received by anyone associated with PSG. RMC Sport has learned that one PSG player considers these comments as a "disrespect to the club." It remains to be seen whether Al-Khelaifi also perceives this statement as a "lack of respect" towards all the members of the PSG squad.
