On Friday, AS Roma announced the signing of Denmark defender Rasmus Kristensen on a loan deal until the end of the season, coming from Leeds United. This transfer marks the third addition to Jose Mourinho's team during this transfer window, following the arrivals of defender Evan Ndicka and midfielder Houssem Aouar.

Having previously played for RB Salzburg and Ajax Amsterdam, the 26-year-old Kristensen showcased his skills by scoring three goals in 30 appearances for Leeds last season. Furthermore, he demonstrated his talent on the international stage by representing Denmark in every match during the World Cup in Qatar last year.

Expressing his enthusiasm for joining Roma, Kristensen stated, "Roma's recent European achievements have further fueled my desire to play for this club. I am eagerly looking forward to embracing my daily life here."

In the previous season, Roma secured a sixth-place finish in the league and unfortunately lost the Europa League final to Sevilla in May, with the outcome determined by a penalty shootout.
