Inter Miami's Messi has arrived in the United States with his wife and children. The final agreement was signed on Friday. On the upcoming Sunday, Inter Miami will formally introduce Messi to their supporters as their new footballer. Inter Miami's owner, David Beckham, organized a special event to commemorate Messi's arrival.

Thanks to Beckham's initiative, Messi has turned down Barcelona's offer and decided to set foot in America. The Argentine World Cup-winning captain has taken the decision to move away from European football. Beckham and his team have arranged a special welcome for Messi.

On July 16 at 6 PM local time in America, Messi will be introduced to the members and supporters of Miami. After the introduction, there will be a special event where renowned artists will perform. According to sources from Inter Miami, one of the artists on the list is Messi's well-known acquaintance, Colombian pop singer Shakira. Shakira is the former partner of Gerard Piqué, who is a close friend of Messi. Messi and Piqué were both longtime stalwarts of Barcelona. Therefore, Messi has known Shakira for several years. Apart from Shakira, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny is set to perform at the event in DRV Pink Stadium in Florida. Another Colombian artist is also rumored to be present, although the government has not disclosed the names of the artists officially.

Messi's arrival has created a festive atmosphere in Miami. A massive mural of Messi has been painted on one of the city's buildings. Beckham himself unveiled the final brushstroke on the mural using a crane. The footage of Beckham coloring the mural also went viral on social media.
