Jude Bellingham, aiming to maintain Real Madrid's lead in LaLiga, is geared up to face Rayo Vallecano this Sunday, following an eventful week that saw him secure the Kopa trophy for the world's best young player at the Ballon d'Or ceremony. Last weekend, Bellingham's two crucial goals secured a 2-1 victory for Real in the Clasico against Barcelona, establishing a four-point lead over their rivals.

In response to his Kopa trophy win, Bellingham expressed, "To win this trophy means a lot but for me the important thing is team trophies and the important thing for me is to kick on and help Real Madrid and England win trophies for many years."

Despite his impressive performances, Bellingham has only secured the German Cup thus far. However, his transfer to Real Madrid is expected to provide him with ample opportunities as the team aims to reclaim the league title from Barcelona. The 20-year-old midfielder has made a remarkable start at Real, currently leading the LaLiga goal-scoring charts with 10 goals in 10 games, in addition to three goals in the Champions League.

Bellingham's upcoming clash against Rayo Vallecano, historically dominated by Real Madrid, presents a promising opportunity for him to further bolster his goal tally. Real Sociedad, set to host a recovering Barcelona on Saturday, aims to capitalize on their home advantage, with Barcelona looking to bounce back from the disappointment of the recent Clasico defeat.

Meanwhile, Girona, maintaining pace with Real Madrid at the top of the league, has shown resilience following their sole defeat this season. As they prepare to face Osasuna, currently positioned 15 points behind them, Girona seeks to extend their winning streak after overcoming the setback of the previous loss. Atletico Madrid, trailing three points behind the leaders, eyes a chance to narrow the gap in their forthcoming match against mid-table Las Palmas on Friday.
