The league has changed, the club has changed, but Harry Kane hasn't changed. His scoring style has not changed.

Kane scored the second goal in Bayern Munich's 2-1 win over Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga last night. The English striker broke another Bundesliga record through this.

Kane found the net with a long-range shot in the 43rd minute of last night's match against Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena. His number of goals in the Bundesliga is now 21, which is the highest in the history of the competition after 15 matches.

Before that, Robert Lewandowski, the former Polish striker of Bayern Munich, scored the maximum 20 goals after 15 matches. This time Laver surpassed that record as the England captain.

With the way Kane is riding a goal horse, it is believed that he will also own the record for the most goals in a season in the Bundesliga. Lewandowski holds the record for most goals in a season in Germany's top league with 41 goals. Leva achieved this feat in the 2020-21 season. Broke the record of 40 goals made by the legendary guard Mueller in the 1971-72 season. That record stood intact for almost 49 years. But Lever's record looks set to slip within 3 years.

In the 18-team Bundesliga, each team plays a total of 34 matches twice. Harry Kane has only played in the first 15 matches so far. There are 19 matches left. It is certain that he will play in the next 19 matches if he is not knocked out due to injury or any other reason. Kane needs to score 21 more goals in 19 matches to take Laver's record.

Kane, 30, has averaged 1.40 goals per game in the Bundesliga so far. To break the record for the league's highest goalscorer in a season, he would have to average even fewer goals—an average of 1.10 per game. Leva, however, scored 41 goals in 29 matches in the 2020-21 season.

Leva couldn't help but react to Kane's record breaking game after game. Addressing 'Hurricane' after the English captain's name, the Poland captain said, 'When I think about my record, it still feels unbelievable. Never thought I could break Gerd Müller's record. It was just madness. The Hurricanes are much larger players. The Bundesliga is not an easy competition either. I think he needs a little more time (to break the record).”

Kane is going on Christmas and winter break with this match. He expressed his satisfaction as he was able to go to rest with a new record, "I am going to winter break playing as I wanted. My first few months at Bayern were great. Now I want to rest. I will return again in the new year.

However, even after yesterday's victory, Bayern is on both points of the Bundesliga. Bavarians have 38 points in 15 matches. Bayer Leverkusen, the surprise of the season, is on top with 42 points. Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen, however, have played one match more than Bayern. The in-form team also won last night, beating Bochum 4-0.

In this victory, Leverkusen made a new achievement. They are the first club in Germany to go unbeaten after the first 25 matches of the season in all competitions. The team won 22 matches, drew 3. Scored 81 goals in these 25 matches. That is, an average of 3.24 per match.

Meanwhile, Liverpool reached the semi-finals of the English League Cup (also known as the Carabao Cup) by beating West Ham 5–1. In the last four, Jurgen Klopp's team got London club Fulham as an opponent.
