Crystal Palace 1 : 2 Liverpool

A familiar scene is staged again. First scoring goals, then equalizing and finally winning. Having made a 'habit' of winning with late goals, Liverpool beat Crystal Palace this time.

Mohamed Salah equalized after conceding a penalty, before Harvey Elliott scored the winning goal in the 91st minute.

Liverpool moved to the top of the points table after beating Arsenal 2-1. Arsenal will take on Aston Villa tonight.

Liverpool have never lost at Palace in the Jurgen Klopp era, but there was still some fear until the 75th minute of today's match. Yas-Philippe Mateta put Palace ahead with a goal from the penalty spot in the 57th minute. However, Liverpool have had to turn around after conceding goals many times this season. In the first 15 matches, the team got 15 points after falling behind.

Klopp's side did the same at Selhurst Park today. Liverpool took advantage of Palace's Jordan Ayew's red card when he left the field 15 minutes before the scheduled time of the match. Salah scored in the 76th minute to equalize the Allreds.

It was his 14th goal of the season and 200th for Liverpool. Salah is the fifth player in Liverpool history to score two hundred goals. He is preceded in this list by Ian Rush (346), Roger Hunt (285), Gordon Hodgson (241) and Lily Liddell (228).

Salah also reached the 150-goal milestone in his 247th individual Premier League match. Of these, 148 were for Liverpool, two in Chelsea jerseys. Salah now joins Michael Owen as one of the Premier League's top ten goalscorers.

Elliott scored Liverpool's next goal after Salah's record goal. The English midfielder, who came on as a substitute, scored the goal that sealed the team's three points in the 91st.

With this, Liverpool won the most 43 matches by scoring in the 90th minute or later in the Premier League. Arsenal is in second place with 32 matches.

Arsenal is currently behind Liverpool in the Premier League points table. Liverpool's points in 16 matches are 37, Arsenal's 36 after playing one match less.
