Tottenham's Struggle: 2-1 Loss to West Ham

 Tottenham Hotspur had a tough time turning their leads into points in the Premier League, losing 2-1 to West Ham United, extending their winless streak to five games.

In the first half, Tottenham dominated, and Cristian Romero's header rewarded their efforts. However, West Ham improved in the second half, and Jarrod Bowen's goal in the 52nd minute changed the game.

Tottenham faced a setback in the 74th minute when Destiny Udogie's weak back pass led to chaos. James Ward-Prowse capitalized on a rebound, scoring after his initial shot hit the post.

Despite late pressure from Tottenham, West Ham held on for a 2-1 victory, bringing them within three points of their rivals. Tottenham remains in fifth place with 27 points but has only gained one point in their last five games, despite leading 1-0 in each of them. West Ham is in ninth place with 24 points.
