Despite late pressure from Tottenham, West Ham held on for a 2-1 victory, bringing them within three points of their rivals. Tottenham remains in fifth place with 27 points but has only gained one point in their last five games, despite leading 1-0 in each of them. West Ham is in ninth place with 24 points.
