1. Erling Haaland's Heroics:

   - Erling Haaland, priced at £14.3m, emerged as the most-captained and second most-bought player for Gameweek 24 in Fantasy Premier League.

   - He rewarded his backers with his first double-figure haul since Gameweek 12 by scoring both goals in Manchester City's 2-0 victory over Everton, accumulating 13 points or 26 with the armband.

   - Over 4.8 million managers captained Haaland, his largest backing in eight rounds, with over 641,000 adding him to their squads. Since being declared fit by Pep Guardiola for Gameweek 22, 1.8 million Fantasy bosses have recruited him.

   - Haaland impressed ahead of Double Gameweek 25 with four shots, three in the box, and two chances created. Manchester City is set to play twice in the next round, hosting Chelsea and Brentford at the Etihad Stadium.

2. GW24 Most-Captained Players:

   - Kevin De Bruyne (£10.8m) was captained by more than 1 million managers for the third successive Gameweek. Initially named among the substitutes, De Bruyne emerged in the second half to assist Haaland's second goal, extending his streak of assists to four consecutive appearances since his return from injury.

   - Julian Alvarez (£6.8m) made the top five active captains. His chances were impacted by Haaland's return, with Alvarez blanking for a second consecutive match despite showing encouraging signs against Everton.

   - Ollie Watkins (£8.8m) ranked third in the captaincy stakes, backed by over 518,000 Fantasy managers. The top-scoring FPL forward will aim to replicate his 18-point return from the previous weekend against Manchester United.

3. GW24 Most-Bought Players:

   - Diogo Jota (£8.2m), the No. 1 transfer target, scored his eighth attacking return in six matches with a goal in Liverpool's 3-1 victory against Burnley.

   - Phil Foden (£8.0m) amassed 51 points over the period, only bettered by Jota. Both Liverpool and Manchester City play twice in Double Gameweek 25.

   - Richarlison (£7.2m), with nine goals in eight outings, featured among the top three transfers in but failed to score against Brighton.

4. Top 100 Managers' GW24 Captains:

   - 72 of the leading 100 managers handed Haaland the armband for his 16th double-digit haul of his career.

   - Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez both delivered for the combined 18 managers who selected them for the captaincy, with Foden and Richarlison completing the top five captains among elite managers.
