Five-time Premier League champions Andrew Cole and John Terry have been honored with induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame. The announcement follows a voting process that included fans worldwide and the Premier League Awards Panel. They join Ashley Cole as the newest additions to the prestigious Hall of Fame, bringing the total number of inductees to 24.


Andrew Cole, renowned for his prolific goal-scoring record, secured his place in Premier League history as the fourth-highest goal scorer of all time. With 187 goals from 414 appearances, Cole's contribution to Newcastle United and Manchester United's success was pivotal. He notably won five Premier League titles with Manchester United and clinched the Golden Boot in his debut Premier League season.


Reflecting on his induction, Cole expressed gratitude for the recognition and highlighted the pride he feels for his achievements in football. He reminisced about his journey in the sport, expressing joy in winning numerous trophies and his special bond with the game.


John Terry, widely regarded as one of Chelsea's greatest captains, received accolades for his defensive prowess and leadership on the pitch. Terry captained Chelsea to five Premier League titles and holds the record for the most clean sheets by a defender in Premier League history. His significant contributions to Chelsea's success, including leading the team to their first top-flight title in 50 years, earned him widespread acclaim.


In response to his induction, Terry expressed his gratitude for the honor and emphasized the importance of giving his all on the field. He acknowledged the privilege of being inducted alongside former teammates and close friends, highlighting the camaraderie within the sport.


Premier League Chief Executive Richard Masters praised Cole and Terry for their remarkable contributions to the league. He commended Cole's goal-scoring prowess and role in Manchester United's dominance, as well as Terry's defensive acumen and leadership qualities that propelled Chelsea to success.


The Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the Premier League since its inception in 1992. Inductees are celebrated for their record of success and significant impact on the league. The induction ceremony will take place in London, where Cole, Terry, and Ashley Cole will be honored.


The Premier League Hall of Fame was established in 2021 and has since honored notable figures in English football. With each induction, the league commemorates the outstanding achievements of players and managers who have left an indelible mark on the Premier League.


Inductees receive a commemorative medallion engraved with their name and the year of induction, along with a £10,000 donation to a charity of their choice.
