Leagues Cup Match Halted by Weather, Rescheduled for Friday at 2 pm ET
UPDATE: Due to adverse weather conditions, the Leagues Cup match between FC Cincinnati and Chivas Guadalajara, originally scheduled for Thursday night, has been rescheduled to take place on Friday at 2 pm ET.
The game reached a halt in the 60th minute following a weather delay caused by lightning. At that moment, FC Cincinnati had a 2-0 lead. Brandon Vazquez had scored both goals in the first half for the MLS side, while Chivas defender Gilberto Sepúlveda received a red card for DOGSO (Denial of an Obvious Goal-Scoring Opportunity) just before halftime.
When the match resumes, it will pick up from the exact point where it was paused during the delay.
