The arrival of a new coach in the team implies the farewell of some players and the arrival of new ones. The departure of Lionel Messi from Paris Saint-Germain even before taking over as the coach of PSG does not indicate any deviation from the PSG's plan. Luis Enrique has taken charge of the team's responsibilities before the start of the new season. Kylian Mbappe is doing his own thing, and Neymar's future is uncertain.

In such a situation, Enrique will need new players. PSG has already signed several players. However, the new coach, Enrique, wants a new goalkeeper for the team. At this moment, Gianluigi Donnarumma, the best goalkeeper in terms of time at PSG, is there. However, Enrique doesn't have much preference for him. The Spanish coach wants a ball-playing goalkeeper for his team.

According to a report by the French media outlet L'Equipe, Chelsea's goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is on Enrique's preferred list. Previously, there were rumors that PSG had offered Tottenham's goalkeeper Hugo Lloris as the primary option. However, there are doubts about whether Enrique agrees with the plans or not.

If PSG fails to acquire Kepa Arrizabalaga, there is speculation that PSG might consider bringing in free agent David De Gea. However, De Gea is not on PSG's primary preference list.
