In a timely manner, Usman Dembele made the move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The negotiations involved considerations of transfer fees and contract terms. The necessary paperwork was delayed slightly but has now been completed.

After all formalities, Dembele joined PSG. The French World Cup winner signed a five-year contract with the local club. To secure his services, PSG had to pay a substantial sum of 500 million euros, which is slightly more than 606 crore Bangladeshi Taka.

Through their official website and social media platforms, PSG introduced Dembele as their new player. He left Barcelona to join PSG and will be wearing jersey number 23. His contract with Barcelona was set to expire by June 30 next year.

However, if any other club had wanted to acquire Dembele's services before July 31 this year, they would have had to pay a transfer fee of 50 million euros. But after August 1, the release clause doubled to 100 million euros. This increased clause allowed PSG to secure Dembele from Barcelona.

Dembele expressed his happiness in joining Paris Saint-Germain, stating that he is excited to be part of Paris Saint-Germain and aims to contribute to the club's success.

The departure of Lionel Messi marked the end of an era for PSG. Similarly, Mbappe may also leave the club during the summer transfer window. Players like Marco Asensio from Real Madrid, Lee Kang-in from Mallorca, Takefusa Kubo from Real Madrid, and Goncalo Ramos from Benfica have joined PSG before Dembele.

In 2017, Dembele joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund for a transfer fee of 135 million euros. During his six years at the Catalan club, he helped them secure seven trophies, including six La Liga titles. However, due to injuries, Dembele often had to spend extended periods away from the field.

Coach Javi Hernandez had hoped to keep Dembele at the club. However, Spanish journalist Gerard Romero alleged a conflict between PSG's president Juan Laporta and Dembele's agent, Moussa Sissoko. Laporta refrained from commenting on the matter regarding Dembele's retention.
