In the match at Molineux Stadium, Manchester City suffered an early setback as a stroke of misfortune led to a Ruben Dias own goal, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead just 13 minutes into the game.

During the second half, academy graduate Oscar Bobb entered the field and immediately made a notable impact. He earned a free-kick for City just outside the box, setting the stage for Julian Alvarez to deliver a stunning strike into the top corner of the net, leveling the score for Manchester City.

However, the joy was short-lived as Hwang Hee-chan of Wolverhampton Wanderers found the back of the net, securing the winning goal that condemned City to their first Premier League defeat of the season.

Following the match, Oscar Bobb expressed his disappointment with the outcome but also conveyed his determination to rebound in the upcoming matches. He recognized the importance of maintaining a forward-focused mentality, looking ahead to the Champions League encounter against RB Leipzig in the midweek fixture.

Bobb stated, "We're all a bit disappointed now, of course. We should have done more, I guess. We pushed for the win, and unfortunately, we didn't get it. Leipzig is next, a big game ahead, and then Arsenal. I'm only thinking forward. It's not the greatest feeling now losing, but I just want to keep pushing for more. It gives us the chance to prove that we're still the best team, so yeah, looking forward to it."
