Paris St Germain delivered a dazzling performance, securing a 5-2 victory over AS Monaco with goals from Goncalo Ramos, Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha, and Randal Kolo Muani. The win further solidified PSG's position at the top of Ligue 1, amassing 30 points, four ahead of second-placed Nice.


Luis Enrique, PSG's coach, expressed satisfaction with the team's attitude after the international break, acknowledging the challenge of preparing for such a high-intensity game. He praised the entertaining nature of the match, stating, "When two teams of this level play a match like today's every fan enjoys a game with seven goals."


The opening goal came in the 18th minute as Ramos seized on a rebound from Monaco's goalkeeper, Philipp Kohn. Monaco's Minamino equalized four minutes later, taking advantage of a mistake by PSG's goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, who later redeemed himself with crucial saves.


Mbappe extended PSG's lead with a penalty in the 39th minute, solidifying his status as Ligue 1's top scorer with 14 goals this season. Dembele contributed his first goal of the season 20 minutes from time, followed by Vitinha's superb long-range shot, securing a comfortable lead for PSG.


Monaco's Balogun pulled one back in the 75th minute after a fine through ball from Minamino, but Kolo Muani sealed the victory with a goal in stoppage time. Luis Enrique commended Donnarumma's exceptional season, emphasizing the goalkeeper's overall performance.


Looking ahead, PSG is set to host Champions League Group F opponents Newcastle United on Tuesday. Luis Enrique acknowledged Monaco as a title-contending team at PSG's level, emphasizing the importance of winning to maintain their lead and enter crucial Champions League matches with confidence.
