Liverpool secured a place in the Europa League last 16 as group winners with a resounding 4-0 triumph over Austria's LASK at Anfield. Manager Juergen Klopp lauded the result, deeming it crucial as the team navigates a challenging stretch of fixtures.

With their dominance, Liverpool clinched the top spot in Group E, eliminating the need for a playoff round in February to progress to the last 16. Klopp expressed the significance of leading the table, especially considering the upcoming demanding schedule.
