Lionel Messi, Neymar, Suarez—at one time, these three formed one of the greatest attacking divisions of all time at Barcelona. The trio broke in 2017, with Neymar moving to PSG that year for a world record transfer fee. Before Neymar's departure, the trio won nine titles including two La Ligas, a Champions League and a Champions League from 2014-15 to 2016-17.

Messi has been in Barcelona since childhood. He made his Barca first team debut in 2004. And Neymar joined the Spanish club in 2013. Suarez joined Barcelona from Liverpool in 2014.

Neymar has been playing great for Barcelona since joining from the famous Brazilian club Santos. He left Barca and joined PSG while still in peak form.

However, he could not make much of an impact in PSG in 6 years. Neymar won 13 titles including 5 leagues for PSG before joining the Saudi Arabian club this year. But the absolute adoration of PSG fans and authorities could not win the Champions League. Scored 118 goals in 173 matches for the club.

Neymar left Barcelona to get out of Messi's shadow, as was heard when Neymar left Barca. However, Neymar has not said anything publicly. No matter why Neymar left Barca for PSG, he has yet to become the best of the best. The Ballon d'Or has not been won yet. Neymar has twice finished third in the race to win the Ballon d'Or. Played well for Barcelona twice (2015 and 2017).

Former Barcelona teammate Suarez recently spoke about Neymar not winning a personal best award. Neymar made a mistake leaving Barcelona, according to Uruguayan striker.

"We were very good friends," Suarez said on a YouTube channel. We knew that if we could play our roles properly on the field, we could make Barcelona a great team. If one of us didn't play well, the other two could have made the difference. The relationship was great.'
