Real Madrid Clinches 3-2 Win vs Union Berlin

 Real Madrid won 3-2 against Union Berlin in their last Champions League Group C match. Dani Ceballos scored the winning goal in the 89th minute, securing six wins in six matches for Real.


Union Berlin started strong, and Real's goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, made an impressive save just 55 seconds into the game, denying Kevin Behrens. Real responded with Joselu hitting the crossbar in the 16th minute and missing a chance in the 43rd. Luka Modric had a penalty saved by Frederik Ronnow in the 45th minute.


In a dramatic end to the first half, Union Berlin's Kevin Volland capitalized on a mistake by David Alaba, scoring in stoppage time. Union needed a win to have a chance at qualifying for the Europa League but faced increased pressure.


Ronnow made a crucial save in the 55th minute, denying Rodrygo's close-range header. However, Joselu scored for Real six minutes later with a header at the far post. In the 73rd minute, Joselu scored again with a header at the near post, following a fantastic run and cross by Fran Garcia.


Union Berlin briefly leveled the score in the 85th minute with Alex Kral's low drive. However, Ceballos ensured Real's victory with a goal in the 89th minute. Real finished with 18 points, securing their spot in the knockout stage, along with Napoli in second place with 10 points. Braga finished third with four points, and Union Berlin ended in last place with two points.
