Real Madrid secured a 2-0 victory against Granada in a LaLiga encounter that failed to captivate the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium crowd on a chilly Spanish evening. Despite the underwhelming atmosphere, the win propelled Real Madrid to the top of the LaLiga standings with 38 points, tied with Girona but leading on goal difference.

Facing Granada, positioned second from bottom with one win in 15 games, Real Madrid displayed dominance from the outset, enjoying 71% possession. Granada failed to pose any threat, registering zero attempts on goal.

Real Madrid's opening goal came in the 26th minute when Brahim Diaz executed a skillful one-two with Toni Kroos, capitalizing on the German's well-timed pass to beat the offside trap. Diaz confidently slotted the ball past goalkeeper Raul Fernandez to give Real Madrid the lead.

The match witnessed a lull until the 57th minute when Diaz, once again in action, contested a ball on the left side of the box. Despite Fernandez's excellent save denying Jude Bellingham's close-range strike, Rodrygo capitalized on the rebound at the far post. The Brazilian forward unleashed a powerful shot, extending Real Madrid's lead.

Rodrygo's goal marked his fifth consecutive goal in all competitions, accumulating seven goals and four assists in that impressive run.

Reflecting on the match, Diaz praised the team's focus and dominance, highlighting the collective effort. He credited Toni Kroos for his vision and exceptional passing, emphasizing the German's spectacular contributions on the pitch.

In summary, despite a lackluster atmosphere, Real Madrid's comprehensive victory showcased their dominance, securing the top spot in LaLiga standings. Diaz's goal and Rodrygo's clinical finish underscored the team's efficiency, with credit given to Kroos for his instrumental role.
