Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Luton Town secured spots in the FA Cup fifth round, eliminating Premier League rivals Fulham, Sheffield United, and Everton.

In a 2-0 victory over Fulham, Newcastle's Sean Longstaff and Dan Burn scored in each half, despite missing key players like Miguel Almiron and Jamaal Lascelles due to injury and illness. The win revitalizes Newcastle after recent setbacks in the EFL Cup and Premier League.

Brighton's Joao Pedro netted a hat-trick, including two penalties, guiding his team to a 5-2 win against Sheffield United. His 10 penalty goals this season stand as the highest in Europe's top leagues. Brighton's victory, featuring contributions from Facundo Buonanotte and Danny Welbeck, showcased Pedro's prowess.

Luton Town sealed a dramatic 2-1 victory over Everton, with Cauley Woodrow scoring the decisive goal in stoppage time. Despite Everton's effort, including a goal by Jack Harrison, Luton emerged victorious, buoyed by Woodrow's late heroics and goalkeeper Tim Krul's inclusion.

Maidstone United's remarkable journey continued with a stunning upset against Ipswich Town, a team 98 places above them in the football pyramid. Managed by George Elokobi, Maidstone's triumph underscored the magic of the FA Cup and its capacity for underdog stories.
