Canadian goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau was the first to rush to see the linesman fall like this. Then the referee of the match, Mario Escobar, and the players also rushed to the spot.

As the condition seemed serious, Crepaya also gestured with his hand and asked the medical team to come to the field. After that, the doctors quickly came to the field and gave first aid.

At that time, the doctors of both teams were present there. The unconscious linesman, however, quickly regained consciousness, but was immediately carried off the field on a stretcher. Later during the break, it was reported that the ailing linesman had been given the necessary treatment.

It is reported that during the game, the temperature in Canada's Children's Marse Park Stadium area was 90 degrees Fahrenheit or 32 degrees Celsius.
