The French League (LFP) has announced the rescheduling of the Ligue 1 match between Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais for December 6. The decision came after the match was postponed due to an attack on the Lyon team bus, where stones and beer bottles were thrown at the vehicle while en route to Marseille's Stade Velodrome. The incident resulted in injuries to coach Fabio Grosso and his assistant Raffaele Longo, with Grosso, a former Italian footballer and World Cup winner in 2006, sustaining facial injuries requiring approximately a dozen stitches.

Although the LFP confirmed the rescheduled date, the specific venue for the match has not been disclosed. Lyon currently finds themselves at the bottom of Ligue 1 with a mere three points from nine matches, while Marseille holds the ninth spot with 12 points.
